Who knew pineapple and lemonade together would create such an unforgettable flavor? Devin Espadron and Danion Green of Element Beverage Co. experimented for many months until they came up with their signature Element recipe.
How We Got Started
Element Beverage Co. was founded by Devin Espadron in 2015 before he graduated from Saint Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The thought of a beverage company came about when Devin was working in his dad’s body shop on a hot summer day drinking his grandmother’s lemonade after looking at the vending machine his brother owned he thought “what if I can sell a drink in here?”
The name Element was created when Devin was sitting in chemistry class looking at the periodic table. He then presented the idea to Danion at school, At the time Devin was still reformulating his grandmother’s lemonade until Danion introduced him to the red concoction in the house that was derived from pineapple juice.
After mixing juice and playing with flavors trying not to just be an average lemonade company the two thought to just add a tweak of pineapple in the lemonade. The company started out their first deal with a restaurant in the French Market selling fresh pineapple lemonade in dispensers which then led to other restaurants.
After selling thousands of cups of pineapple lemonade in restaurants, the demand grew for bottled Element which they needed to fully enter the beverage industry and to be a successful beverage company.
High demand for the juice required the guys to do a lot of research for bottles, formulation, manufacturing and more.
After a year of preparation it finally happened and now beautiful bottles of non-GMO pineapple lemonade can be found throughout the New Orleans market that Element produces and package themselves.
Element can be found in convenience stores, grocery stores, and restaurants throughout the New Orleans market with goals of doing business with a major beverage brand in the future.
